So, I've now learned I'm really bad at Blogging. I had every intention of staying up on this and documenting everything that was important - well I'm sorry to say i failed.
Here are a few things that are happening now.
Bailey - Bailey is crawling and climbing stairs, pulls up on anything her height and jibber jabbers all day long. She has developed what we call the "Stink Face" where she looks at you and wrinkles her nose at you. Sometimes it is accompanied by a sniffing sound. She is so cute - and we may be partial parents- but i believe she may be the cutest baby EVER. (Sorry to those reading this that after seeing our Bailey also agree)
Miss Rae (as her daddy calls her) is right on track with her height and weight. At our last Dr. Appointment she was dead center and about 50% for both. Her noggin is a Clark noggin and is in the 85%.
Nate - Is still working for T.R.A.I.L.S up at the University of Utah Hospital working with Spinal cord patients and doing fun exciting adventures like Kayak camp, Spinning, Hand Cycling, etc. He currently works 2 days a week and spends the other 3 with Miss Rae. Nate and Bailey go on lots of adventures- Hiking, Rock Climbing, Bike Rides, etc. (which makes me feel sad - not because i want to hike, but because it would be adventure time with my family)
Nate will start back to school in August and will be taking Anatomy in the Fall and hopefuly Physiology in the Winter so that he can apply for the Weber State Radiology program come January. Hopefully having a Radiology Degree can help him find more employment opportunities to support our family, and will love his job. He has really enjoyed the hospital setting, and would like to stay there.
Stevie - Is still at SnugZ USA and still a Sales Executive. I have some opportunities to travel with this position including our Colorado trip a few months back, a trip to Long Beach in August and then possibly one to AZ in October. Work keeps me busy 5 days a week (oh boy!). I really love my job and the people I work with, so it's makes getting up every morning a bit easier
I signed up to run a 10 mile race in September, which meant i had to get my but in shape as i hadn't run more than about 2 miles since Bailey was born. My cousin Pam Schmidt and I were dedicated to a Triathlon in August in CO, but then the race date moved to July making it impossible for us to make it, so she suggested this 10 mile race and for some silly reason I agreed. My training buddy is pretty amazing - he encourages me every day to go out and is my little cheerleader when it gets hard to keep going. Nate and I go out at night after we've put Bailey to bed. Right now we're up to 6 miles with only 4 to go and 7 weeks to the race.
Life in Salt Lake City is good - we are making some fun memories with our little family of 3. Next week we take off for our yearly trip to the Snake River for white water rafting - Camping with a 10 month old is going to be grand.
Till next time

MY FIRST SHOW
On Friday May 11th I had my first show in Denver. Nate and I drove over on Wednesday night after work so that Miss Rae would be able to sleep most of the way. She didn't, but that's alright we still made it alive.
On Thursday we spent the day with Mom and Dad and helped them pick a new couch and chair - they are high adventurers :) Then Thursday night Grandma and Grandpa had a date with Bailey as Nate and I headed to the show to set up.
Then on Friday I worked my first show. It was a blast. I got to talk to a ton of people about something I'm a pro at. I love my job, so talking about our product line is fun (I'm sick aren't I?). It was a crazy day, but I enjoyed it. I shouldn't say that too many times, or my boss will send me on more shows :)

On May 9th Skylar turned the big number 5. Crazy how much has changed in those 5 years. So as part of Skylar's birthday celebration and part family bonding time we all went bowling together. It was something different. Sadly i do have to admit the 5 year old beat me on the first round. And not just by 1 or 2 points, but something like 24 points.
We had a lot of fun. It is always a blast spending time with our family. They treat us well and love us so much. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with them.
On our drive back to Utah we had a small blow out in the back seat, so we got to have a nudey party in the middle of no-where Wyoming. As we changed Bailey on the trunk she just smiled and giggled and thought she was pretty clever.
Catch-Up!
So I know I'm very behind- so this one will be a doosie. Be prepared for 100 pictures of Bailey with guest appearances by Nate and I
We'll start with Bailey's 6 month and 7 month comparison pictures

THE PARK
We then move on to Bailey's first trip to the park. She was less than thrilled, and could care less that it was her first time at the park. All she wanted to do was take off her hat. Nevertheless Mom and Dad took her down all of the slides and went through all the obstacles. She did enjoy the swing and even gave Dad a good chuckle
EASTER!!!!!
Look at this beautiful girl. Bailey celebrated her first Easter in style. Grandma Glenys gave us this beautiful pink dress as our gift at our Baby shower. It has sat lonely in the closet since then. But Bailey finally got to wear it on Easter. She was a slippery pink fluff ball, but she was the cutest slippery pink fluff ball there has ever been. She was beautiful! Thank you Grandma Glenys.
For Easter Bailey got some fun new squirt toys for the bath and some big girl treat containers for her new favorite treats- PUFFS!
The Fantastic Four...
All through College I lived with the most wonderful women I have ever met. Monica (Bishop) Cole, Ashley (Byrd) Hermann, and Lyric (Olsen) Powell. On April 12th the last of the Fantastic Four was married.
Lyric became Lyric Powell and was married in the Mt. Timpanogas temple. Ashley flew out for the occasion, so for the first time in a long time the 4 of us were together. Lyric looked absolutely beautiful and amazingly happy.
It was an incredible day and I am so happy that all 3 of my best gal pals have found such amazing husbands. It's weird to think how grown up we are now... when did that happen?
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Enter here the post of our 2nd anniversary (see previous). Nate and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary on April 16th up at Brighton Resort. Nate taught me how to master a snowboard. I only tried to take him out once. We had a great time. I am so grateful for my husband and can't believe he's mine. We are truly the best of friends. Our family motto is "This doesn't suck!" It is so true... it's incredible and amazing and I highly recommend it to all. I love you Nathan Clark!

2 year anniversary
Nate and I celebrated 2 years of wedded bliss this weekend.
For our anniversary I wanted to do something adventurous and something we could not do with Bailey so it would force us to leave her. So I had the brilliant idea to have Nate teach me to snowboard. Nothing strengthens a marriage like one partner teaching the other (haha yeah right)
We actually had a lot of fun. Nate was a wonderful teacher. I spent my fair share of time on the ground and only almost took Nate out. He only received a minor head wound.
It was a good adventure topped off with good food at the Porcupine after. Thanks to Mel and Jared who watched miss Rae

Bailey's 6 Month Photos
While we were in Colorado my mother had scheduled to take pictures of the 4 grand children together. While we were there the photographer took a few of just Miss Bailey Rae. Conveniently it was near her 6 Month mark so we can call these her 6 Month's. Thank you Mom!

Colorado
On March 9th Bailey took her first Airplane ride.... an 8:20pm flight to Denver Colorado. She was an Angel child. She fell asleep in Dad's arms before boarding the plane so take off was a breeze... we actually woke her up after we leveled off so we could feed her at her normal time.
After she had her bottle we played for 20 minutes or so and then it was time to descend. We were in the front row and when the flight attendant came up an strapped in Bailey coo-ed so she looked at us. She then made the comment "there was a baby on this flight" she hadn't heard a peep from her before that point and was so impressed with her. She's a good baby
We had a great weekend and had a lot of fun visiting with family and friends. We are always very busy when we go to Colorado- here is this trips itinerary
- - Friday Night: Adult Dinner at the Melting Pot (YUMMY)
- -Saturday Morning: Mom scheduled professional pictures of all 4 grand kids - that was an adventure of it's own
- -Saturday Afternoon: Lunch with Shelley and Zeb Tiedeman and their baby Harmony and then Shopping with Shelley at the Mall
- - Saturday Night: Colorado Mammoth Game
- - Sunday Morning: Harmony's Baptism
- - Sunday Afternoon: Visiting Pam & Josh
- - Sunday Night: Visiting Great Grandma & Grandpa Hartmann
- - Monday Morning: Packing and Flight back to Utah
The purpose of our trip was to support my Best Friend from High School Shelley and her Husband Zeb as they baptized their little Harmony on that Sunday. Harmony and Bailey are only 2 weeks apart (Bailey 9/22 and Harmony 10/4). Neither Shelly or I had seen each other or our babies since they were born. It was a wonderful reunion and we are so glad we could be a part of this special event. Thank you so much for allowing us to participate - we love you guys!
I also have to say a quick thank you to my Aunt Jackie, Uncle Dan and Kelli who watched the Kiddo's while the adults went to dinner on Friday Night. Apparently Bailey was not on her best behavior so they got to experience the Diva.
We love spending time with my parents and Matt & Jen - and always look forward to our next trip over the mountains.
