On March 9th Bailey took her first Airplane ride.... an 8:20pm flight to Denver Colorado. She was an Angel child. She fell asleep in Dad's arms before boarding the plane so take off was a breeze... we actually woke her up after we leveled off so we could feed her at her normal time.
After she had her bottle we played for 20 minutes or so and then it was time to descend. We were in the front row and when the flight attendant came up an strapped in Bailey coo-ed so she looked at us. She then made the comment "there was a baby on this flight" she hadn't heard a peep from her before that point and was so impressed with her. She's a good baby
We had a great weekend and had a lot of fun visiting with family and friends. We are always very busy when we go to Colorado- here is this trips itinerary
- - Friday Night: Adult Dinner at the Melting Pot (YUMMY)
- -Saturday Morning: Mom scheduled professional pictures of all 4 grand kids - that was an adventure of it's own
- -Saturday Afternoon: Lunch with Shelley and Zeb Tiedeman and their baby Harmony and then Shopping with Shelley at the Mall
- - Saturday Night: Colorado Mammoth Game
- - Sunday Morning: Harmony's Baptism
- - Sunday Afternoon: Visiting Pam & Josh
- - Sunday Night: Visiting Great Grandma & Grandpa Hartmann
- - Monday Morning: Packing and Flight back to Utah
The purpose of our trip was to support my Best Friend from High School Shelley and her Husband Zeb as they baptized their little Harmony on that Sunday. Harmony and Bailey are only 2 weeks apart (Bailey 9/22 and Harmony 10/4). Neither Shelly or I had seen each other or our babies since they were born. It was a wonderful reunion and we are so glad we could be a part of this special event. Thank you so much for allowing us to participate - we love you guys!
I also have to say a quick thank you to my Aunt Jackie, Uncle Dan and Kelli who watched the Kiddo's while the adults went to dinner on Friday Night. Apparently Bailey was not on her best behavior so they got to experience the Diva.
We love spending time with my parents and Matt & Jen - and always look forward to our next trip over the mountains.
